Ah the Holidays are upon us. You know what that means…a chance to maim yourself and family members putting up the “best light show ever”. This year Taylor took one for the team by climbing the hemlock out front and hanging up there while I handed the lights up with a pole. It looks pretty cool and it is definitely the best display ever. Oh, he’s fine, no one got maimed this year. Drive by some time and take a look!
Lots of music this month. The Jan Van Voorst Quartet is up at the Dogfish in Portland every friday. I was gone last week but Charlie Kohlhase filled in for me and I’m sure he did a great job. I’ll be back on the 15th with Curtis, Jan and a bass player as yet undetermined. The Tonkin Group kicks off the BARLEY TOUR tonight and tomorrow with a show at the BARLEY PUB in Dover, NH and then tomorrow night at the BARLEY HOUSE in Concord, NH.
